The World Health Organization has recently released a report detailing the expected rise in city populations over the next few decades. Just like Australia, the majority of the world’s population also live in cities. The report states they expect the number of people living in cities will increase two-fold, which is an amazing prediction. The figure in 2009 was 3.4 billion, which means by 2050 it is expected to reach 6.4 billion.
